Promoting British Values
At St Peter’s C of E Primary School, we want our children to become responsible caring and trustworthy citizens. They should take an active part in public life, demonstrating an understanding and respect for diversity and a commitment to working towards greater community cohesion. PSHE is embedded within our school ethos and underlines the difference between right and wrong, developing an understanding of individual and cultural differences found within our very diverse society. We provide a curriculum which will enable children to develop these values. Through well planned and engaging lessons we will ensure children gain an understanding of themselves and their role within their community and the country in which they live.
