Trip to Barley 10.6.24
Trip to Barley
On Monday 10th June, Pink Class visited the village of Barley in the Forest of Bowland. The trip was linked to our Geography unit which is all about learning about a small area in the UK. Children had lots of fun walking through the Pendle Sculpture Trail and completing different fieldwork activities.
The children had a tough walk up a steep hill to reach the Pendle Sculpture Trail, but it was worth it for the views of Pendle Hill and to see all the different sculptures! After having our dinner in the village hall, children worked in groups to complete different field work activities. The activities included using the different senses to record what they can see, hear and feel, as well as observing different leisure activities and completing a signpost map.
