Lytham St. Anne's
During our field trip, we looked for examples of coastal sea defenses, such as the sand dunes and the sea wall. We walked through the sand dunes and sketched what we could see. We also saw evidence of the Christmas Tree project, where old Christmas trees have been used to add to the sea defenses. We talk a walk down the promenade and investigated the types of buildings and activities taking place. We also saw examples of mudflats and other coastal features we had learned about in class.
