Fireground trip
Fireground Museum
On Monday 15th December, Yellow Class took a trip to the Fireground Museum in Rochdale. The trip was linked to next half term's History unit which is all about The Great Fire of London. Children enjoyed learning about how the fire started, why it spread and why it was difficult to manage and extinguish. Children then had the opportunity to explore the museum looking at how fire management has changed over time to ensure a disaster like this never happened again. Children then had lots of fun dressing up as firefighters and sitting in a real fire engine.
