Bonfire Night - Firework Splatter Painting

We learnt all about Bonfire Night. We learnt that most often people celebrate Bonfire Night by visiting a Bonfire and Firework Display. We watched a Firework Display video as some of us didn't manage to get to a real life display this year. We then worked together to create firework pictures using sparkly paint on dark paper. 

Kipper's Birthday

This term we were learning about Celebrations around the world. We thought a lot about special times that we all celebrate, including our birthdays. We then learnt about the book Kipper’s Birthday in our Literacy lessons, building up to celebrating his birthday with a Surprise Party!

We wrote invitations, party lists and cards for Kipper. We had a special party with cakes, singing happy birthday and party games.
