Competitions & Events
There was lots Football played in Autumn 2, with both the boys and Girls teams taking part in this Years LSFA U11’s Football Qualifier competitions. Firstly, it was the Boys team that played the qualifier tournament at Burnley College. The Boys were tremendous and qualified for the Finals finishing in first place. A fantastic team effort with great performances by all the boys!
The girls played some magnificent football and represented St Peter’s amazingly well. Although they didn’t qualify for the finals the girls had a great time and enjoyed their games playing with great spirit.
The boys went on to play the LSFA Football Finals tournament held at Burnley College. The boys once again played amazing putting in some quality performances. However, they couldn’t quite make it through as tournament winners and finished in third place. A truly impressive achievement by our boys!
Lastly, pupils from Year 2, 3 & 4 participated in this years Elf Dash, which was raising money for Lancashire MIND. Our pupils ran dressed in Christmas hats and jumpers and completed a course around Queen’s Park. The pupils loved the festive theme and even got to meet Santa’s elf’s!
