Tots On Tyres Course 2022

Each morning this week we went in small groups to the hall and completed the course 'Bikeability Balance'. In this course we learnt how to:
- Fasten a helmet
- Identify parts of a balance bike
- Pick up / put down a balance bike
- Walk with a balance bike
- Get on and off a balance bike
- Sit on a balance bike with feet flat on the ground and knees slightly bent
- Come to a controlled stop using a brake, if the balance bike has one
- Come to a controlled stop using only their feet
- Start a balance bike using their whole foot
- Look in the direction of travel
- Change direction
- Glide with both feet off the ground
- Play control skill games on a balance bike
- Share space and communicate with other people
