The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Today we celebrated a very special event, the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. She has been the monarch for the longest time ever in British history and is now second longest reigning monarch ever in the world! We had the afternoon playing traditional street party games and then had cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches, buns (that we had decorated) and then as an extra special surprise treat, the ice cream van came to school and we all got an ice cream, yummy!
