Butterflies 2024

 It has been butterfly time this term! We came back from the Half Term Holidays to 2 pots with 5 tiny caterpillars in. We have watched them grow and grow until they created their chrysalises. We have then patiently waited for 2 weeks while they metamorphosised into butterflies. We can all confidently name the 4 stages of the butterfly life cycle. Once they had all hatched into beautiful Red Admiral Butterflies we released them on our EYFS yard and were pleased to watch them all fly away. They were very active before release so not many landed on us.
