Lake District Trip 15.06.23
WOW!!!! What an incredible day we have had at Lake Windermere.
We arrived and got on a steam train which took us from Haverthwaite to Lakeside. In Lakeside we boarded a steam boat on which we had our picnic lunch as it sailed across Lake Windermere to Bowness-On-Windermere. Once we had disembarked the boat we made the short walk up to Beatrix Potter World. We loved looking at all the characters from the stories. We were all very sleepy on the bus on the way home.
The crew on the boat said we were "The best behaved and most polite class [they] have had all season." Several members of the public stopped Miss Franklin to comment on how well we behaved and what a treat it was for us to have such an exciting day, and we all looked to be having so much fun.
