Dance Festival 21st March 2023
Children in KS2 classes that have been performing well in dance were chosen earlier this year to take part in an extra dance session at school. They have been working hard each week since January practising for the Burnley Schools Partnership Dance Festival. Our team competed on Tuesday 21st March at Blessed Trinity High School. Nine primary schools in Burnley entered and our team came third! They all enjoyed taking part and were thrilled to win a medal. We already can't wait for next years event. The theme was 'Eco and green'.

Sports Competitions & Events
Children at St Peters enjoyed lots of events this half term. Tag Rugby took centre stage for our Year 5/6 pupils who participated in a Practice event followed by a tournament. The tournament was held at Prairie Sports village and was organised by Burnley Rugby Club. The pupils played some excellent Tag Rugby throughout and St Peters managed to play their way to the top seeded group to compete against the best teams in Burnley. A fabulous achievement, Well done to all involved!
