Jewish Museum Trip
Orange Class went to the Manchester Jewish museum to develop their understanding of the Jewish faith. The museum used to be a working synagogue for Jewish people in Manchester. We learnt about the various parts of the synagogue and special objects that are used. We did some investigating to find out more about some of the artefacts that you can see in the museum. We got to handle and explore some special Jewish objects and find out what they were used for. We used all that we had learnt to begin creating our own 'documentary' on the Jewish people.
