Fire Museum Trip 18.01.23
Today Yellow class went on a very exciting trip to the Greater Manchester Fire museum to consolidate their learning about the Great Fire of London. The museum used to be a fire station so the children were able to experience what life as a fire fighter would be like. We looked at the cause of the GFOL and why the fire spread so quickly. We learned that firefighters uniform has changed over the years, we learned that fire engines look very different to how they used to and we even got to use a water squirt and have a go on the firefighters pole. Take a look at our pictures and ask your child about our fantastic trip!
