Today is lesson 2 in the unit Effective Searching. This will all happen on Purple Mash but please read all information provided on here first before starting.
Read the presentation ‘Effective Search’ which is set as a 2do.
Answer the questions on the sheet attached ‘Dinosaur Questions’. You are allowed to use google to find the answers, just like presentation showed you.
Finally, complete the dinosaur quiz set on Purple Mash.
Science
This is the second lesson of the season Spring.
- Can you remember any of the signs of spring?
- What 3 months spring is in?
- What kind of weather can we see in spring?
Today I would like you to go on a Spring walk. We will be using our 5 senses; can you remember them? Touch, taste, hear, see and smell.
Read the PowerPoint- All about Spring to remind yourself of the signs of spring.
Look at the Spring 5 Senses Word Mat attached to see all the different words to describe the signs of spring using our senses.
Go outside to either the garden, yard or a walk to your local park. You need to look around you to see if there are signs of Spring. Make sure you use your 5 senses: feel, see, smell, taste and hear.
When you have been outside come back in and complete the worksheet ‘Spring Nature Walk’.
Please remember to send photos to our emails of your work!
Kind Regards,
Miss Wilkinson and Miss Yates
