Poetry Day

On our first day back after the Easter break we welcomed poet Andy Tooze to our school.  He shared some of his poems during a morning assembly and got everyone excited about poetry.  During the day he went into each class to deliver a poetry workshop.  In year 4, he gave us some of his top tips for writing a poem and helped us to come up with our own creative poems.  Ours were based on body parts.  Four people form Orange class then got to perform their poems to the whole school in an afternoon assembly.
