Homework: Week beginning 16th November 2020
This week in school we have continued to learn the names and properties of 3D shapes.
Purple Mash: Please complete the following activities with your child on purple mash.
- 3D shapes 1
- 3D shapes 2
- Sorting 2D and 3D shapes
Christmas Nativity: This year our Christmas nativity will look a little different. Reception will be acting. Year 1 will be the choir and year 2 will be the narrators. This will be recorded separately in our own class ‘Bubbles’ and then made into a video. This will then be put onto our school website for you to watch.
As we are the choir, we have lots of songs to learn. We will be learning them at school. However, if you wish to help your child practice. If you type into YouTube ‘The Wriggly Nativity’ you will be able to help your child learn the songs.

Read, Write, Inc bookmark- This week I have attached a paper copy of the RWI book marks containing your child’s current level, the level before and the level after. Your child should be able to tell you which group they are in. Please practice reading and spelling the words on your given bookmark.
Please ensure your child is reading their home reading book every night at home.
Vocabulary- please continue to read and discuss the words on the vocabulary sheet attached last week.
