Samba Drumming Day

This week we have welcomed Ben from More Music into all of our classes for some Samba Drumming.  We had fun learning and creating our own rhythms, first clapping them to each other and then using our body as a percussion instrument.  Ben told us a little bit about Samba music and where it comes from - Brazil.  He brought in a selection of instruments including: Djembes, agogo and tamborim amongst others.  Everyone got chance to play many of the instruments and take part in performing rhythmic pieces as a class.  Lots of fun was had by everyone as well as improving our musical skills.
