Stone Age Experience
20th October 2021
Green Class endured the wet weather to enjoy an authentic Stone Age experience, where they took part in activities to consolidate their understanding of the Mesolithic Age. The children took part in hunting activities where they experienced different methods of early Stone Age hunting techniques from throwing rocks and spears to using a bow and arrow. They also enjoyed building their own shelters and making their own fire on which they baked homemade bread.
Sukkot Shelters
As part of our RE learning on Harvest, we studied the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We explored the meaning behind the festival and then built our own Sukkot shelters.
