Curriculum Enrichment
Stone Age Experience
The children travelled back in time to the Stone Age period to experience what life would have been like. They enjoyed hunting, building shelters and making bread, which they then baked around a campfire. The children were able to see how early man developed different techniques through from the start to the end of the Stone Age.
Exploring Artefacts
The children became archaeologists for the afternoon while the investigated some Stone Age artefacts. The worked together to describe each artefact before deciding what they thought they might have been used for.
Healthy Eating - Classifying
Green Class reflected on their understanding of how to stay healthy by classifying nine different statements into a Diamond 9. Each partnership decided which statements were most important in staying healthy and gave justifications for their decisions.
