Thornton Hall Farm Trip 20.03.24

We had an exceptional day at Thornton Hall Farm! We saw so many different farm animals and learnt some interesting facts. Scroll through the photos below to see all the animals and everything we got up to!

Top 3 Interesting Facts:

  1. All cows have horns, both girls and boys!
  2. Llamas hair stops on the back of its head, but an Alpacas hair comes all the way over its head.
  3. Llamas and Alpacas are in the same family group as Camels.

Oh, and we also had a visit from somebody VERY special... see if you can spot who it was in the photos!

Animal Feeding (Cows, Llamas, Goats, Alpacas)

Bruce (Male Red Deer) had cast his antlers, so we felt how heavy they were. We needed big muscles!

Petting Barn - stroking Rabbits and Guinea Pigs

Soft Play, so much fun!

Feeding the Kid

Sleepy on the bus home!
