Bonfire Night

We learnt all about Bonfire Night and why it is celebrated in the UK.

We found out that Guy Fawkes was a naughty man who tried to explode The Houses Of Parliament with gunpowder, but we were pleased that the guards caught him. 

We explored the different ways Bonfire Night is celebrated and were all very excited that we usually see fireworks for this celebration. We made our own fireworks by splatter painting. It was very fun and VERY messy.
