GCHQ Virtual Activity
On the 16th November, Year 4 joined in with other schools from around the country in a virtual event finding out about the work of GCHQ. Not many of us were aware of this branch of the UK's secret services that help keep our country safe. We first took part in our own bit of detective work where we had to ask yes/no questions to four people from GCHQ to try and find out what they did there. After trying to work it out we then heard more about what they do and what their role involves. There was a historian, a senior analyst and even one of the directors amongst others. It was fascinating finding out about their roles and who knows, maybe someone from St Peter's will end up working there one day!
