Threads Through Creation Trail
Yesterday, Gold Class went to Blackburn Cathedral to look at the Threads Through Creation exhibition. These 8 foot high textile panels told the story of God's Creation through 12 hand sewn hand sewn pictures. The panels took over 3 years to create and we had great fun trying to spot different things in each one. After the exhibition, we took part in a workshop and used the panels to create our own creation plates.
After our workshop, we played in the Cathedral's private garden for a while, then Hamzah was dressed up as the Bishop and allowed to sit in the Bishop's chair.
