St. Anne's trip
On Tuesday 24th September, Pink class enjoyed a day at Lytham St Anne’s. The trip is linked to our history unit ‘How different were seaside holidays in the past?’. Children enjoyed looking at some of the features of a seaside such as the pier, the promenade, the arcade, ice cream shops and hotels. Children discuss which of these features would’ve been available in the Victorian times and what they might have used instead. After dinner, children enjoyed an ice cream and had lots of fun playing games and building sand castles on the beach.
