Home Learning

Well done to the children who have engaged in Home Learning, you definitely kept me busy yesterday.

For the children who have not yet completed any work, Home Learning is not optional, it is a legal requirement that you complete any learning that has been set for you and phone calls to your parents will be made this afternoon if you have still not engaged in your lessons.

If you took home paper based learning, this will need to be returned to school on Monday 2nd November.

Welcome to Home Learning.

Bubble Closure

Home learning will be posted on here for Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st October. Home learning is compulsory and online learning will be monitored.

Thank you

Mrs Coyne

Please see the attached pdf files for your work on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday 20th October – Complete English 1 and 2 – you will need to read the poems first. Complete Maths 1 and play on the game. Have a go with the science activity and let me know what you find out.

Wednesday 21st October – Complete the English and maths challenges, then have a go with the art, practicing the skills that we have learnt this half term.

French - Madame Simms has set you some French.

Go to Curriculum (on our website), then French, then to Knowledge Organiser.

You then need to go to Stage 4 Autumn 1. Then click the link and listen to the audio, practise saying the time phrases in the Vocabulary Box. I've also attached the specific knowledge organiser here, if you prefer to print it off.

Complete the task (this will look similar to one you did last week with Mrs Simms, but is slightly different!) You will need read the two written phrases, decide which is correct, and correct the one that is wrong, then fill out the other time phrases,  using the Knowledge Organiser.

Thirdly, an extra task (extension) to get ready for next half term, is to look at and practise the questions and answers in the Knowledge Organiser - Daily Routine. Again this can be found on our website, but I've also attached it here.

Remember to go onto TTRockstars and Reading Eggs to keep up with your times tables and your reading.

You can complete any of the other tasks if you like.

Remember to email me your work on

g.coyne@st-peters-burnley.lancs.sch.uk or on email via PurpleMash
