Careers Convention - Joseph Coelho
Today, Gold Class were given the amazing opportunity to join the children's Laureate Joseph Coelho for a careers convention via Teams.
We learnt all about his childhood and how it took 20 years of touring and promoting his books before finally finding a publisher that would publish his first book. Now he has written over 40 books, these have been translated into 21 languages and millions of copies have been sold. He told us that he had built a bike from bamboo then travelled around the South coast joining a library in each authority!
We finished by singing happy birthday to him as he turned 44 years old today!
