In RE this week we learnt about the story Jesus heard about Daniel in the Lion's Den. We wrote our own prayers asking God to keep us safe. You can watch the video of this bible story below. Ask us what we remember about this story that Jesus heard.

We have been listening to a piece of classical music each day after lunch. This helps to calm us down following play time and is also stimulating for our brains, both of which help us to get ready to learn in the afternoon. We have particularly enjoyed our recent piece of music 'Winter' from 'The Four Seasons' by Vivaldi. We know that the instrument being played is called the violin.

This week we have also particularly enjoyed playing in the outdoor classroom. We have been mark making, reading, playing music, constructing, investigating, developing our gross motor skills and strengthening our friendships with our peers... and enjoying our outdoor learning time!

This week we have been busy learning about Chinese New Year, which will continue next week, and partaking in NSPCC Number Day 2022.

Below are some pictures of us creating our tiger pictures looking very carefully at the details of photos of real tigers, it is the year of the tiger in the Chinese calendar.

There is also a link to the information about how we participated in NSPCC Number Day 2022.
