Poetry Day 17.04.23
Today we were visited by poet Andy Tooze. He delivered an introductory assembly this morning delivering some of his poems which we found very funny. He then visited us in class and we learnt a poem to perform together. We learnt the actions to go with the poem. We performed the poem to the rest of the school in the celebratory assembly at the end of the day.
"Authors write books."
"Poets write poems."
