Enrichment
Whitehough
Year 6 had a brilliant time at Whitehough on the 12th July 2021.
We took part in several activities - obstacle course, tree climbing, building shelters and making fires in order to survive in the wild.
Most importantly - we completed the 'Leap of Faith' and survived!
A fantastic, if slightly soggy, day. Thank you to the staff at Whitehough.

Today, Years 4, 5 and 6 were visited by Lancashire Constabulary to talk about online safety and social media apps.
The police talked about the dangers of signing up to apps such as TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram etc as you have to be at least 13 years old. In order to sign up to these apps, children are clearly using a false date of birth. This can then lead to cyber bullying, catfishing or even being exposed to inappropriate content. The age limits are there for a reason.
The visit ended up with us taking a look around the police car and setting off the sirens. Thank you, Lancashire Constabulary.
