Key Skill

Red, Green or Pink group are learning to be able to identify 'doing words', or verbs, in sentences and use them in your own writing.

Blue or Grey group are learning about how to add the prefix un- to make new words.

1. Practice your times tables on Times Table Rock Stars- login is inside your Home Reading Record. You can also play on Numbots. This is the same login as your Times Table Rock Stars.

Times Table Rock Stars:

2. Play ‘Hit the Button’. When you go on the link, click the button ‘Division Facts’. In the column Hit the Answer and divide by 10.

3. In today’s lesson you will be reading, writing and telling the time to o'clock.

4. There is a task set on My Maths for you to complete. You will have ‘Understanding Time’ set for you. Remember you login and password are inside of your Home Reading Record!

Our unit this half term is Effective Searching. This will all happen on Purple Mash but please read all information provided on here first before starting.

Read the Introduction to the Internet presentation on Purple Mash, it has been set as a 2do.

Then do the internet quiz set as a 2do also.

Finally, there is an extension called ‘Can you Decode?’ where you have to see if you can make the sentences make sense.

Note: on the decode extension, make sure you press the play/pause button on the bottom right-hand corner on the screen.

This half terms unit is Easter. Read the Easter story from the link below

or watch the click below of the Easter story

Have a think about…

What you think are the most important parts of the Easter story?

Look at the picture of the cross below. That is the cross from San Salvador in Central America.

Create your own cross in the style of this one with the Easter story on using the cross template provided.

Write your own short version of the Easter Story to go alongside your picture of the cross.

Please remember to send photos to our emails so they can be put on the website!

Kind Regards,
Miss Wilkinson and Miss Yates
