Manchester Airport 17.05.22
On Tuesday 17th May 2022 we went to Manchester airport. Following the visit the children collectively wrote a recount in our literacy lessons before independently writing their own individually. Here is the trip in their own words:
The bus was late because of traffic. We hopped on the bus and went to the airport. We went and sat on the yellow chairs and the lady talked and we watched a video. We got to play the different jobs like cabin crew, security and in the shop. We had a picnic lunch. We went and watched some aeroplanes. The police saw us on the bridge and waved at us. We speedy walked to Terminal 2 on the travellators. We saw real cabin crew and pilots. The special TV showed us where the planes were going. We walked back to the bus through the tunnel , down the escaltaors and onto the bus back to school.
