Sports Competitions and Events
Children at St Peters participated in lots of events during the first half term of summer. All Stars Cricket took place at Burnley Cricket Club where pupils in Year 1/2 played lots of games which developed both their batting and fielding skills. Cross country and a Sports Day event gave some of our pupils in Year 3/4 opportunity to participate in Athletic based activities. Some of the events included a tug of war and welly wanging! To finish the half term children in Year 2/3 entered a 3v3 gifted and talented Football event hosted by Burnley FC. The competition was fantastic and the boys who represented school played amazing!
